ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Area Manager, you will maintain a variety of transmission systems and associated infrastructure to meet customer requirements and oversee a team of ten (10) Broadcast Technicians who are responsible for the maintenance and performance of the AM, FM & Digital Radio and TV broadcast networks transmission systems and infrastructure to ensure service delivery targets and expectations are met and risk to services is minimised.
The role requires travel within the state.
Some further interstate travel may be required for training and emergency response purposes.
ABOUT YOU In addition to fully competent Senior Broadcast Technician (BT)3 skills, you will be: • Fully aware of all Service Integrity Unit Procedures • Electronics Technician with RF experience and a background in maintenance of transmission and control equipment • Possess a current Drivers Licence • Has sound interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise with others and a proven ability to work as part of a team.
