Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Instructor/ Professor

Your role will be to execute and manage the training program across adults, kids, junior and competition classes. You will be providing expert technique demonstrations and explanations of positions to educate students in both a practise, combat and competition environment. You will lead the school in terms of culture, positive reinforcement and as the lead role model for younger students. Your role will also be responsible to develop a healthy competition team (kids, adults and professional) with a view of making the club a leading team competitor across NSW, Australia and the global stage.
We're seeking an experienced Jiu Jitsu Coach to join us immediately. This role is full-time, requiring 38 hours per week, and is based in Tweed Heads.
For this positions you will undertake the following responsibilities:

Organising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Training Sessions;
Instructing both children and adults, spanning all skill levels, in the fundamentals of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu;
Assessing student performance and pointing areas for improvement
Championing the sport and nurturing student growth continually
Managing student involvement in competitions;
Overseeing student belt advancement exams;
Addressing inquiries from students and their guardians regarding our program structure and classes;
Actively participating and contributing in team meetings;
Assisting in the development of Assistant Coaches.

Applicants for this role should ideally have:

A Certificate II in Sports Coaching or a background in Jiu-Jitsu, along with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Jiu-Jitsu Coaching capacity


Must hold a 3rd Degree Black-Belt in Jiu-Jitsu or above
