Chief Academic Officer

Management - Universities (Education & Training) We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Academic Officer to lead the academic delivery of The Institute of Creative Arts and Technology's research, curriculum development, and educational initiatives.
The CAO will provide strong leadership, guide educational practices, and inspire a vision for and commitment to academic excellence.
This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our innovative programs with a unique focus on the Fashion Industry.
As the Chief Academic Officer, you will be responsible for:
Strategic leadership and execution of comprehensive academic outcomesDriving academic excellence and ensuring that our programs are at the forefront of industry trendsEnabling teaching and learning excellenceCollaborating with industry partners to enhance curriculum and provide students with real-world insightsProviding strategic leadership and direction to those within academic departments, faculty, and administrative employeesEnsuring compliance and academic standards are aligned with TEQSA requirements, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and accreditationsFostering an environment of innovation and creativity in teaching methodologies and educational technologies to enhance learner experience and engagementWhat you will bring PhD qualified, preferably in an aligned areaKnowledge of TEQSA is advantageousAlignment with creative and technology-based research and changeProven experience in academic leadership or senior roles within higher educationDemonstrated success in curriculum development, program assessment, and educational innovationStrong communication and decision-making skillsKnowledge of accreditation standards and regulatory compliance in educationWe are looking for a leader who is passionate about education, has a strong background in the creative arts, fashion industry, or technology sectors, and is committed to delivering an exceptional student experience and quality learner outcomes.
