About Role: The Creative Designer plays a key role in shaping and maintaining the visual identity of CPA Australia across brand and marketing initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Brand, the Creative Designer will collaborate closely with internal brand and marketing teams, external creative agencies, and various stakeholders to support the creation of compelling, dynamic and consistent creative assets across all campaigns, driving CPA Australia audience engagement and conversion throughout the entire marketing funnel.
Your key duties: Be the go-to-person in the brand and marketing team, delivering high-quality visual and graphic design that brings campaigns to life, collaborate closely on multi-channel campaigns Partnering with the Senior Manager Brand, other marketing team leaders, and external creative agencies to spearhead creative ideation and development.
When needed, take the lead in developing specific creative concepts that resonate with audiences across various channels.
Play a key role in a team approach in creative agency briefing, ensuring clear communication of project objectives, and reviewing creative outputs ensuring they meet brand standards and campaign goals.
Lead in-house creative design concepts and development for small to medium sized projects – in partnership with key marketing managers, provide advice and creative direction on asset formats and layouts tailored to specific channels (eg social, web, events) Partner with teams to evaluate the performance of creative assets in on-going campaigns.
Use data-driven insights to refine and enhance the visual expression of future projects to more effectively build awareness, consideration and conversion Thorough understanding of digital-first design principles, typography and UX/UI to create visually compelling, user-friendly assets.
Establish and maintain internal processes and systems for managing graphic design workflows.
Be a natural collaborator with internal and external customer mind-set.
Build strong and trusted relationships across the journey and digital teams.
As part of the brand team, champion and model the application of brand guidelines and at same time build visual literacy across teams.
About You: Design and/or graphic design qualifications preferred Creative and graphic design expertise and experience with a passion for working on the tools and envisioning new creative ideas and solutions Proven creativity and design leadership – ideally across in-house and agency-side roles Strong collaboration and consultation experience to elicit internal customer needs and respond to solving external customer needs and problems Expertise across design tools and platforms – including Adobe Creative Suite Ability to work independently and as an influential expert within a team – comfortable project managing and working under pressure and to hard deadlines Why we love working here: We are a Values led organisation, we C reate opportunity, P ursue excellence, A chieve together Monthly Health and Wellbeing sessions, weekly learning labs, generous reward and recognition program.
