The role will conduct annual strategic audits of this product portfolio to identify growth opportunities, however, this role is executional, not strategic, so if you like executing on strategy set by others, this is the role for you!Researching market trends to develop competitive marketing ideas and aligning product vision with company goals is part of this role.You will monitor market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities & support the sales team along with executing on marketing strategies across various therapeutic categories.You will oversee product life cycles, including pricing and margin management and evaluate market potential for new product development or in-licensing.You will build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders and stay updated on product knowledge & clinical developments.You will foster strong relationships with internal teams and external customers to drive marketing and sales strategies and develop product training materials and manage product forecasting, inventory, and pricing.
A key customer group will be Directors of Pharmacy in hospitals.You will always adhere to professional and ethical standards as per Medicines Australia guidelines.YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LANDING THIS ROLEAt least 2 years' hands on marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in a similar role, (if you meet all the requirements, you may have been an associate product manager for 2+ years looking for a step up), and preferably you will have previous experience as a sales rep in hospital or primary care in the industry.You will have worked for a small to medium pharma company, in marketing, and worked on numerous products at the one time, 25+ and you will have worked with Directors of Pharmacy.Demonstrable business planning skills.Willing and able to work in the office, in Melbourne.Preferably science, health-related or marketing tertiary education qualifications and preferably Medicines Australia qualification.Interested?
