The RoleThis Breakthrough Nutrition Brand Manager will be pivotal in seeding Sanitarium's future by exploring new opportunities that leverage our existing technology, capability, and assets to meet existing and emerging consumer needs and exploit existing and new categories, markets and channel opportunities.
Under the leadership of the Marketing Manager (Beverages), you will be responsible for identifying, scoping, sizing, developing, and implementing product innovation and brand development within our Sanitarium Core Business Strategy and leading the end-to-end process of new product development (NPD) from concept to commercialisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing Strategy Development: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new market segments, consumer trends, and competitive opportunities.Innovation Development: Identifying, scoping, sizing, developing, and implementing product innovation within our Sanitarium Core Business.New Business Development: Identify and evaluate potential new business opportunities and areas of growth for the company.Project Management: Oversee innovation projects and campaigns, ensuring timely execution and successful implementation.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.Financial Management: Provide ongoing recommendations and support to achieve brand budget and ongoing growth.Contributing to team culture: Demonstrating a collaborative and constructive approach to working with team members across the total business.Skills and CompetenciesRequires solid knowledge of the core marketing competencies (as outlined in SHF Marketing Skills Matrix) and consistent execution with limited supervision in most situations and some support from above in more complex situations.Reasoning is consumer-driven and considers the implications of observations/insight.Frame of reference is strategic and medium term (up to 3 yrs.) and considers category and key cross-functional implications and effect.Qualifications/EducationTertiary qualifications in Marketing or Commerce.
Knowledge/ExperienceIdeally 3+ years proven ability in brand management and communications leadership, preferably FMCG marketing experience.Experience with bringing new products to market, including cross-functional project team involvement.Knowledge and understanding of grocery retail dynamics.Knowledge and understanding of mass communication processes and models.Sound financial acumen in brand P&L.Ability to use creative marketing techniques effectively.Enthusiastic self-starter.Action-oriented, detail focused and highly efficient in quality and quantity of output.Highly collaborative with experience driving cross function team outcomes.What do we offer?A role at Sanitarium means more than simply taking a job; it's an invitation to a supportive workplace where our people can experience long and rewarding careers.
