The Project Manager then ensures that the project is delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard (within agreed specifications). They ensure the project is effectively resourced and manage relationships with a wide range of groups (including all project contributors & stakeholders). The Project Manager is also responsible for managing the work of consultants & subcontractors and allocating and utilising resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative, motivated and successful team.
ABOUT YOU 5 years' experience in a similar role Seasoned industry player with varied client facing and production management experience Good IT skills – in particular Excel & Google Sheets. Strong understanding of fabrication materials, finishes and manufacturing techniques Ability to review and interpret technical drawings Knowledge of print techniques and formats Experience in managing and delivering brand activation builds, events, pop ups and retail window projects and rollouts for brandds An understanding in working with Luxury Retail and Fragrance clientele and delivering to high standards Excellent communication skills Highly organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment Problem solving skills with innovative and creative thinking Leadership qualities and a hunger to deliver the best results Ability to thrive working autonomously as well as part of a team High level of attention to detail with a passion for delivering excellence Adaptability, resillience and confident in decision making ABOUT THE ROLE Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan and critical path. Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan. Oversee the project workflow from concept design, through to fabrication and installation. Managing multiple projects of varying sizes and values - from $100K to $2m. Recording and resolving cross-functional issues at project level and escalating where necessary. Liaising with all internal and external stakeholder inc. arranging permits and council submissions and location access depending on the event/activations. Seeking out and managing your own clients/ supplier relationships, working with Dashing's Leadership team and internal account directors as required. Monitoring project progress and performance and providing status reports to the project stakeholders. Providing direction and solutions to overcome project challenges Collaborating with Dashing's production team and external partners to bring projects to life to the highest standards. Being the main point of contact and managing all expectations internally and externally throughout the lifecycle of a project. Managing subcontractor's manufacture and installation teams to deliver key objectives Ensure standard of work produced to the highest quality in accordance with the budget Working closely with in house team to overcome challenges and determine solutions Managing consultancy input within the defined budget. Creating detailed project costings to support tender submissions and then driving profitability aligned to this costing once project is live with clear reporting Ultimately delivering projects on time and on budget Managing and being present at on-site installations & bump outs and submitting full post project reports (including out of normal business hours, interstate travel & occasional weekends) Working in collaboration with the wider Dashing team to drive business forward and improve processes.
