Position Purpose: The purpose of the sales/store person is to efficiently take branch sales phone calls & take control of the branch stores area; maintaining a clean, tidy & safe environment. The role also includes assisting customers in the branch and helping Account Managers to maximize branch sales.
Key Accountabilities: Respond to branch phone calls Assist customers with in-branch sales Process invoices and credits Receive and despatch goods & consign freight in a timely manner Undertake stock counts Maintain goods, pallet racking and shelving in correct sequence & location Report incorrect stock levels to relevant individuals Health and Safety: Role model a culture of zero harm through effective risk management and consultation with your team regarding all health and safety matters. Ensure your safety and the safety of those around you by complying with all safe work practices, policies, procedures and instructions. Maintain safe working practices that contribute to an accident and injury free working environment. Maintain a clean and safe working environment attending monthly toolbox and safety meetings.
