About the opportunity: Lead and drive the performance of our Berri branch in this opportunity which is perfectly suited to an someone looking to step into a leadership role, or an individual with a background in leading a team and managing sales performance.
Our Berri branch is a multi-faceted site with a large focus on Viticulture/Horticulture, Real Estate, Insurance and associated agricultural services and products.
Reporting to the General Manager, the focus of your role will be to develop strong customer relationships with local rural producers to support the livestock functions, sale of agriculture products and merchandise.
You will mentor the sales team to provide professional, efficient, and quality service to our clients both in store and on farm.
Oversight of supply chain activities for the branch to ensure products are being delivered in full and on time in line with inventory KPI's; along with managing safety, quality and the overall presentation of the store to the highest standards all form part of this rewarding role.
About You: You must demonstrate strong sales and business acumen with a proven track record in sales of agricultural products.
You will be self-motivated and driven to implement improvements in all areas of store operations.
You will demonstrate success developing solid long-term partnerships with clients and other key stakeholders and be able to identify opportunities to develop new business.
