Together.We're on a constant journey of improvement, delivering what we proudly call 'SIXT star service' for a seamless and premium experience.Job DescriptionSIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Branch Manager to join the team at Canberra Airport.As a Branch Manager, you will manage all staff at your location/s to achieve maximum efficiency, drive utilisation and sales, and support business strategic direction.Your key responsibilities will include:Conducting daily meetings with operational team to set daily focusEnsuring the location is supported with rentable fleet to drive utilisation targetsSupporting staff by working on the front desk or any part of the location as requiredCreating and maintaining a positive working environment that promotes open communication and empowermentDriving change and company initiativesEnsuring all staff fully understand their role and how their performance is measuredGenerating excitement and passion in customer service initiatives through open communication and sharing of best practiceEnsuring that employees are adhering to safe work practices and HSE complianceEnsuring all relevant policies and procedures are implementedMaking positive steps to understand the nature of the operations on their site and understand the potential hazards and risks associated with the businessQualificationsExperience in vehicle rental industry (essential)Demonstrated effective usage of interpersonal skills along with communication style to coach staff in selling to customers and providing exceptional serviceDesire to work in a competitive, fast-paced environmentProven ability to exceed customer expectations in terms of the service and quality of product offeredPromotion of a professional, enthusiastic and flexible manner when dealing with customers, staff and the SIXT Australia brandDemonstrated leadership capabilities and people management skills to motivate your teamHighly developed ability to solve problemsAbility to work effectively during periods of high demand and stress dictated by the positionExperience in negotiation, handling conflict and confrontation, and facilitating resolutionProven experience in working as part of a teamCurrent Full Driver's LicenceAbility to work in AustraliaAll successful applicants will be required to complete a National Criminal History Check and a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol screening.Additional InformationAt SIXT Australia, we offer more than just discounts – though you get those too!
