About the role
This role is site-based on an 8:6 roster from Perth.
You will use your people leadership, management skills, and commercial mindset to deliver a high-performing, profitable branch location. Use your leadership skills and commercial mindset to make a true impact on your people and the branch's performance.
In this role your key accountabilities will be to:
Take reasonable steps to ensure own safety, health, and welfare in the workplace and also safety, health, and welfare of others in the workplace.Supervise direct reports to ensure work is undertaken safely.Ensure training is carried out & that reports hold the necessary qualifications to undertake their work safely.Action non-compliant behaviour & investigate incidents.Contribute to a positive safety culture & the achievement/maintenance of our "Destination Zero" objective.Report all hazards, incidents, and near misses.Assist the branch managers to ensure all SHEQ inspections are completed for each branch.Skills and experience
This role is perfect for an experienced hands-on manager who thrives in a busy environment where you can use your leadership skills and commercial mindset to make a true impact on your people and the branch's performance. In addition to this, you will have a passion for fostering a positive culture where excellence and teamwork is paramount.
