About Us: Active Electrical Distributors is a Leading Distributor of Electrical Products that distributes recognised products to the Commercial, Industrial, Residential & Utilities Market.
Key Responsibilities: Branch Operations: Manage and oversee all aspects of branch operations including, staff & inventory management, order processing, and stock control.Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of sales and operations staff to achieve branch targets and deliver exceptional customer service.Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers & suppliers, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth through effective strategies, promotions, and identifying new business opportunities within the region.Financial Management: Monitor and report on branch financial performance, including budgets, forecasting, and profitability.Key Requirements: Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the Electrical Industry.Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical products and the wholesale market is highly desirable.Sales & Business Acumen: A solid understanding of sales techniques, target achievement, and driving business performance.Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff.Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering solutions in a timely and effective manner.Organisational Skills: Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a busy environment.Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the Ballarat area and regional market trends would be an advantage.What We Offer: Management package provided commensurate with Industry experience & inclusive of fully maintained company car.Career development opportunities within a growing company.A supportive and dynamic work environment with a focus on teamwork and innovation.If you're ready to take the next step in your career and join a reputable, forward-thinking company, we'd love to hear from you!
