They will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll processes and providing vital support to the wider teams.In your new role you will add value to the organisation through providing professional, accurate, confidential, and efficient payroll and administration services while meeting statutory obligations.
Job DescriptionYour main duties in this role will include:
Weekly end to end payroll processing including new starters, terminations, deductions & allowances of approximately 500 employeesCo-ordination of monthly superannuation processing & paymentReporting for tax purposesPayroll auditingIntegration of new hires into relevant systemsMonitoring timecards and exceptionsAssisting with timecard and employee set up inquiriesDaily review of hours and exception reportingReviewing payroll reports and cross-checking HR actions and Payroll changesEnsuring timely issuance of payslipsInvestigating and resolving all payroll queries from employees & stakeholdersMonthly system reconciliationSupporting franchisees with payroll processing queriesDocumenting payroll processing proceduresChecking and approving pay reportsQualificationsAbout youMinimum 5 years' experience working as a Book Keeper/Payroll Officer with a payroll of 300+ employees.Experience with Payroll system Tanda is desired, but not essential.Intermediate to advanced excel skills.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to understand, interpret and explain payroll and T&A data.Proven experience working with awards, Fast Food Industry award desired, but not essential.Understanding of STP Phase 2 setup and reporting obligations.Personable and approachable demeanour.Experience with Accounts Payable Processing + Statement Reconciliations.Bank + Credit Card Reconciliations.Experience with EOM Journals.Experience with EOM Intercompany Invoicing.Experience with P+L and Balancing Review.Additional InformationThe Good StuffOpportunity to work for a growing family-owned company.Salary on offer $80k per annum- Pending on Experience.Generous Staff discounts.New and stylish office that has access to café and rooftop bar.Office is walking distance to South Bank train and bus station.Ongoing training and development opportunities.A warm and supportive Payroll team to help you hit the ground running.If this sounds like you and you are ready to join our TYS family, apply now!At The Yiros Shop, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
