Job Summary:
We are a successful and forward-thinking firm of Chartered accountants and business advisers in Wimborne, Dorset. This is an exciting long-term opportunity for you to join our dynamic accounts team. Reporting to the Accounts Manager you will be involved in a wide range of bookkeeping and accountancy jobs to help support our firm in growing.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Processing & entering financial information into accounting software (mainly Xero & Excel)
Reconciling control accounts
Preparing VAT & C.I.S. Returns
Preparing income & expenditure accounts and rental statements
Supporting other members of the team

Must Have:

Strong administration, organisational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
The ability to manage a changing environment and focus on the firm's goals
The ability to manage yours and the team's workload, handle multiple deadlines and rank priority tasks.
Friendly and welcoming manner with professional presentation
A willingness to work with others and respect their views.
Excellent IT skills - Microsoft products (mainly Excel & Word).

Desirable:

UK professional practice experience.
Professional qualification / part qualified e.g. AAT.

Role Status:

Competitive salary - £22,500 - £30,000 FTE based on skills and experience
