Position: Full-time, Permanent Part-time: We are currently seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.
What you will be doing: As an accounts officer, your primary responsibilities will include:
Receive, collate, record and pay invoices, create ABA files using accounting software Intuit Quick Books and Xero;Issue, check and follow up payments, record invoices in the accounting software;Collate payments received;Manage staff time-sheets and payrolls every fortnight;Manage purchase orders and stock positions in Excel or accounting software, as may be required;Attend to reporting and documenting all accounting activities to maintain our high standards of managing a professional business.What you will need: To be considered for this role, you should possess:
Relevant experience as a bookkeeper or an accounts manager/accounts officer (experience preferred);Ability to use accounting software, experience with Intuit Quick Books and/or Xero;Knowledge of accounts receivables and accounts payable;Good understanding of data entry, data matching and allocation in the accounting software;Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;Organisational skills with attention to detail;Other basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.What you need to do next: Please submit your application via Seek and/or via email to: ******.
