Bookkeeper / Knowsley / Salary £26,000 – £30,000 + Benefits / Study Support / Excellent / Permanent Role  Bookkeeper Role Overview This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant to join a reputable company based near Knowsley.
You will be working in a small accounts team, reporting into the company director.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities: Complete monthly bank reconciliations on a timely basis ensuring all transactions are allocated and understood. Monthly and Weekly Reporting to management Prepare bank payment runs and reconciliations. Maintain ledgers in Sage for management and statutory accounting requirements. Credit Control – Chasing debtors and ensuring balances are collected on a timely basis or appropriately escalated. Preparation of the VAT returns. Pay creditors on a timely basis ensuring cashflow of the business is managed on a daily basis. Process payroll on a timely basis. Work with the business to resolve credit control issues, to ensure that our debtor days are as low as possible, focusing on working capital. Supporting Directors with month end reporting. Keeping Sage up to date. Bookkeeper Experience Required At least 3 years' experience in a similar accounts/bookkeeping role Experience using Sage 50 Must have experience in Payroll AAT or equivalent qualification – Desirable Good level of IT skills.
