As a global company, we rely on open communication and people speaking up.Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage our day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organisation by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.Perform regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy.Track cash flow and ensure timely payment of bills and collection of receivables.Assist with payroll preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.Generate financial statements and management reports as required.Prepare end-of-month and end-of-year close processes.Monitor and report discrepancies or irregularities in financial transactions.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.Qualifications & RequirementsAssociate's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1-2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar), Microsoft Excel, and general ledger functions.Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.Ability to identify discrepancies and work through issues methodically.Good written and verbal communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.This role is a Monday to Thursday role with 3-4 days in our new offices in Green Square.If you have the experience and are happy to wear multiple hats, we want to hear from you.
