Town and Country Business Solutions – Goulburn NSW
We are looking for a qualified part-time bookkeeper to join our team. The position will be 20 – 25 hours per week across 4 to 5 days, with the potential for hours to increase over time.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills, and bring a positive, mature approach to their work. With strong technical skills and the ability to adapt to new systems quickly, you will enjoy working with multiple clients across a diverse range of industries.
What you'll be doing You will work collaboratively with the rest of the bookkeeping team to deliver the following outcomes:
General bookkeeping and maintenance of client accounting files Accounts Payable/Receivable Payroll & Superannuation Preparation & Processing Bank and credit card reconciliations Compliance work Payroll Tax, BAS/IAS Preparation & Processing What we're looking for Minimum completion, or currently studying Cert IV Accounting & Bookkeeping Minimum 5 years experience in a similar accounts/financial administration role Basic experience and understanding of payroll preparation Practical hands-on experience of XERO and Excel, (experience of QBO and MYOB desirable) Attention to detail and excellent time management skills You will also demonstrate Strong logical and analytical thinking skills Ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion and integrity Proactive and independent worker with the ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and manage competing deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to ask clarifying questions when necessary Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to work across multiple systems and quickly adapt to new software What we offer At Town & Country Bookkeeping you'll enjoy the following benefits:
