Bookkeeper

Position: Administration/Bookkeeping Assistant Location: Cairns City Hours: 3 hours/day, 3 days a week Type: Permanent, Part-Time About The Company: Our client is a small and friendly accountancy firm located in the heart of Cairns City.
We're looking for a motivated individual to be the face of the business and help the family accountant with day to day tasks.
If you're self-driven, capable of working autonomously and are only looking for 12-15 hours work/week, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities: Filing and organizing documents Maintaining trust accounts Greeting clients, handling phone calls and general administrative duties Occasional trips to collect mail (must have car and driver's license) Skills & Experience: A background in accounting or bookkeeping (or compliance based work) would be highly beneficial.
Strong communication and organizational skills Self-initiative and the ability to work independently as you will often be working alone in the office with remote correspondence to the accountants.
Prior experience with MYOB would be beneficial This role could be ideal for a parent or someone looking to return to the workforce on a part-time basis while maintaining their won flexibility.
