Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and updating the general ledger by recording daily transactions.
Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and receipts. Ensure timely and accurate entries into the accounting system.
Bank Reconciliations: Assist in reconciling bank statements and company accounts monthly.
Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Expense Tracking: Assist in monitoring and recording company expenses and payments.
Payroll Processing: Help in processing payroll for employees, ensuring accurate records for salaries, taxes, and deductions.
Data Entry: Input financial data accurately into accounting software.
Audit Support provide assistance during internal or external audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
Ad-hoc Tasks perform other tasks as assigned by senior accountants.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 0-2years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles (internships or relevant experience preferred).
Skills:
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Time management and organizational skills.
