Alfa Air & Electrical is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Administrator to join our quality air-conditioning business!
Benefits Competitive salary (experience-based)Professional development opportunitiesPermanent full-time ON SITE role with immediate startAdditional software training provided if neededSupportive team environment.About the role As the successful applicant, the Accounts Administrator will demonstrate all aspects of bookkeeping, office and general duties where needed with an excellent ability to solve problems. Being well-organised and meticulous, along with the the capacity to work on your own and part of a team is essential.
Responsibilities - include but not limited to: Oversee the full cycle of accounting tasks.Perform reconciliations of supplier accounts to ensure accuracy in statements.Conduct reconciliation of bank accounts and credit card statements on a montly basis.Preparing/maintaining documentation to complete onboarding of new staffManaging annual and personal leave records.Manage timesheets and adminster Single Touch Payroll in MYOB, adhering to Australian legal requirements related to superannuation contributions, payroll taxes, and Workcover filings.Preparation of Quarterly Business Activity Statements (BAS).Ensure timely compliance reporting to various Australian regulatory bodies, including the ATO, State Revenue Offices and superannuation entities.Answering customer enquiries via phone call.Applying rebates from TAFE (ADMS).Submitting EOFY reports to the accountant.General office duties - answering phones, emails and customer service.Basic knowledge of all office roles to assist when required.About you To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
Full Australian working rights.5 + years' experience in similar role within Australia.Certificate or diploma in business administration/accounting (or equivalent) highly regarded.Advanced knowledge of MYOB and Microsoft 365.Servicem8 experience preferred (training will be provided if required).Proficient in organising tasks and punctual in meeting deadlines.Outstanding ability to interact and communicate with others.Eager and cooperative participant in team settings.Works well under pressure situations.Versatile and willing to adjust to new situations.Aware of and respects privacy and sensitive information.About us Alfa Air & Electrical is a family-owned air-conditioning company, that has provided the Brisbane area with quality air conditioning services since 2015 with more than 30-years combined experience.
