Come and be a part of this success.About The RoleWe are seeking safety-focused Boilermakers interested in applying for upcoming opportunities with our passionate Fixed Plant Maintenance team, on a shutdown (Dynamic) 182 shift roster flying from Perth.A Dynamic 182 roster is similar to a shutdown roster made up of 182 shifts a year, shifts will be dependent on demand but because you will be a permanent employee you still receive a consistent fortnightly pay regardless of the amount of shifts you work. The roster is forecasted 3 months in advance, so you are able to plan your life ahead of time.Key responsibilities will include:Inspection, servicing, adjustment, troubleshooting and repair of the processing plantEnsuring clear communication across team members and to the Supervisor in regards to downtime and trouble areasFollowing specific maintenance strategies and proceduresOverriding commitment to BHP Charter, health, safety, environment, and sustainable developmentEnsuring that all documentation and data entry is accurately completedMaintaining a high-level working knowledge of safety processesAbout YouTrade Certificate relevant to your skillset is required - Boilermaker/FabricationFixed plant maintenance experience desired, adjacent industry experience also consideredExperience having maintained Crushers, skirts, pulleys or gearboxes will be highly regardedExperience in removal and installation of deflectors and chutes also desirableHigh safety focusCapability in 1SAP or similar maintenance management system desirableAbility to identify defective mechanical components or equipmentWhat is on Offer?Continuous focus on developing you to be the best you can be through our Mastery ProgramOngoing support for you and your family through our Employee Assistance ProgramAbout Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing those who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
