Key Accountabilities include: Fabricating/welding steel as per drawings and specifications.Install prefabricated structures and components for Industrial and commercial purposes (Site crew only).Repair boilers.Join fabrications to form metal structures.Maintain a safe and clean work environment.Load and unload equipment and materials.Use hand and power tools and heavy machinery.Follow written and verbal instructions from managers/supervisors.Qualifications and Skills: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Attention to detail.Knowledge of Safe working practices.Collaborate with co-workers and with strong interpersonal skills.Communicate effectively and have strong verbal communication skills.Learn quickly with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, bending, and lifting.Willingness to work overtime if required.Education and Experience Requirements: Relevant Trade Qualification.Additional qualifications or experience that are preferred but not essential: Confined spaceWorking at HeightsRigging or Dogging LicenceForkliftEWPExperience in Heavy industrial work sites.To be eligible for consideration all applicants must be an Australian Citizen / Australian Permanent Resident / New Zealand Citizen or hold appropriate work rights to work in Australia and be willing to undertake the necessary pre-employment checks which could include a Medical Check and drug & alcohol test.
