About the Role: We are expanding our workforce and seeking trade qualified and experienced Boilermaker / Welders to join our Fabrication Team at our Para Hills West site.
You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant manufacture and repair of Liebherr excavator components.
Skills and Duties: With an immediate start available, along with additional overtime opportunities paid at full penalty rates, you will be required to: Manufacture and repair mining excavator buckets and attachments Interpret technical drawings, FCAW welding, grinding and arc gouging Comply with internal OEM and international recognised acceptance criteria Operate plant and mobile equipment Have a strong commitment to safe work environment and continuous improvement Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team Essential Requirements: Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication) Demonstrating a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers.
Experience with Flux Core and able to demonstrate quality workmanship which meets or exceeds business and customer requirements Read and interpret technical workshop drawings Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems Hold a current confined space ticket – highly desirable Scissor Lift (Yellow Card) and forklift licences – highly desirable Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing Diversity and Inclusion: Diversity and inclusion sit at the heart of the Liebherr Group's Core Values.
