About You:Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our team at MF&E.

Key Requirements:Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or vocational training in boilermaking or a related field.Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding symbols.Strong welding skills, including experience with MIG, TIG, and stick welding processes.Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant safety regulations and procedures.Desired: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in boilermaking, metal fabrication, or a similar role.Desired: Experience with maintenance of heavy mobile mining equipment.Job Responsibilities:Heavy and light fabrication of metal structures according to technical drawings and specifications.Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal components using various tools and equipment, including arc welders, oxy-acetylene torches, plasma cutters, and grinders.Conduct inspections of materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following safe work practices.Maintain a clean and organised work area, including proper storage and handling of tools and materials.Document work activities, including materials used, hours worked, and any modifications or repairs performed.Job Benefits:Competitive salary with salary packaging optionsEmphasis on work/life balanceFamily-friendly and inclusive workplace cultureOpportunities for career growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr
