As an industry leader and employer of choice, we're Made for More.About the RoleJoin our General Workshop Rebuilds team at Tomago as a Boilermaker and weld your way to success!With a robust forecast of work, your role will be crucial in heavy mobile plant repairs and maintenance. You'll construct, assemble, and repair metal structures and equipment using various welding and metalwork techniques, including:Perform carbon and air arc gouging - 3XP.Conduct UT (Ultrasonic Testing).Undertake rust repairs, panel work, as well as chassis and crack repairs.Execute work on radius corners.Engage in the repair and maintenance of Off-Highway Trucks (OHTs), Dozers, Graders, and Drills, including models 789, 793, 777, D10, and D11, as well as some auxiliary equipment.Operate within 14 bays and an outside PAD, with one dedicated Boilermaker Bay.The ideal candidates should be able to read and interpret plans and blueprints, as well as have excellent communication skills.
