Rosters Available: 2/1 roster
Role Located: Kalgoorlie, WA. FIFO from Perth.
Earning Potential: Up to $184k plus superannuation paid on all hours worked.
About the role: Repair or replace malfunctioning or worn mechanical components. Ability to cut, shape, mould and heat metal products to fabricate parts. Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them via welding, bolting, or riveting. Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing, or bathing them in acid solutions, or by protective coatings. Complete bucket and tray refurbishments and whole machine rebuild including crack testing and repairs where required. What we are looking for: Previous experience working on mobile surface equipment (MEM). Demonstrable experience as a Boilermaker working on a mine site or in the mining industry. At minimum 2 years post-graduate qualification/apprenticeship in the mining industry. Experience with tray reline and bucket rebuilds. Thorough understanding of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer). Demonstrable different working techniques such as flux core, arc, oxy, mig, tig, and gouging. Australian Recognised Trade Certificate III - Fabrication Trade. Confined Space Ticket.
