The OpportunityWe are currently seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Structures) for a position based in Nowra, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting sheet metal and composite repairs on the EC135 aircraft and its associated components. You will work alongside other aviation maintenance trades in a diverse range of tasking, including operational, line maintenance, and base maintenance environments.
Experience/QualificationsEssential Criteria Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures)Have previous experience as a maintenance quality inspector or supervisor in an aircraft maintenance environmentDemonstrate a commitment to promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and proceduresEnsure that all maintenance tasks are carried out in accordance with the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentationPossess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with co-workers to achieve team, business unit, and organizational goalsBe an Australian citizen in order to obtain a "Baseline" Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirementsBe willing to reside in the Nowra areaDesirable Criteria Hold a Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)Possess a DASA B MAML qualificationHave previous experience working on rotary wing aircraftSecurity ClearanceYou will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Baseline) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life i.e. birth to present time.
