Mechanical Fitter - Randstad

Randstad is on the lookout for hard-working Mechanical Fitters for project works across various Sydney Water sites based around the Kemp's Creek and Castle Hill areas.
What You'll Do: Install and maintain plant equipment Conduct various mechanical works on manufactured parts and sub-assemblies Maintain and install structural/mechanical piping Fit and install pipework Perform fault finding and preventive maintenance Assemble spooling, mechanical instruments, and valves to regulation standards Conduct safety and quality assurance checks to ensure all equipment and completed works meet industry standards Read and understand site drawings and documents Keep quality high and follow WHS rules What You Need: Relevant Mechanical trade certification Fork Lift, Dogging, Confined Space, Working at Heights all highly regarded Strong work ethic and a commitment to getting the job done right Good communication skills Self-starter who can handle multiple tasks Must pass a medical and provide a National Police Clearance Full Australian working rights Current Manual Driver's License What's On Offer: Pay rate: $57.42 p/hr + OT allowances Ongoing project work for the right candidates Meal and Travel allowances Opportunity to join and further your career in Sydney Water assets If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of a solid team on important projects, we want to hear from you!
