The Role
Based in Tamworth, NSW the purpose of this role is to profitably grow our business across the region through increasing market share, managing the safe and efficient operations and driving an exceptional customer experience.
Key responsibilities will include:
Achieving sales and profit growth targets Winning new and securing existing gas and welding equipment business Management of the retail store – including inventory, cost control and leading the local team Management of the local distribution model Grow BOC's position by working with local and trade allies within the local community and industry Deliver customer training and product demonstrations Supporting, implementing, and driving group strategy, policies, and procedures Understanding, monitoring, and reporting competitor activity and market trends Promote customer-centric focus, innovation in products & services Take ownership for developing, mentoring, and coaching employees to build their skills and capabilities The Candidate
To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes;
Previous experience in an industrial/trade environment - desirable 3-5 years Proven track record of BDM, B2B sales experience Driven to deliver on sales targets - Gas/welding industry advantageous Strong negotiation skills with proven performance to cost budgets Strong relationship management skills and customer focus People management and mentoring experience Price and profitability management knowledge Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills Why you will love working with us
