Applications The College is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Boarding House Mother to join our dynamic team on a full-time, temporary basis, commencing Term 1, 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to step into this role while covering for a member of the Boarding House who is embarking on maternity leave.
The Boarding House Mother will be reporting to the Heads of Boarding.
Role responsibilites will include: Providing oversight of the boarding house day-to-day operation while on duty.
including duty staff for whom they are responsible.
Experience and/or understanding about the unique challenges facing international boarders.
Supporting students' health, safety and wellbeing.
Establishing strong connections with students and their families.
Assisting in the organising and planning of boarder events.
Maintaining a positive and well-ordered boarding house environment.
Collaborating with the Heads of Boarding to address pastoral issues.
It is expected that applicants will have: Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with children.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated understanding of the ethos and values of a Christian independent all girls' school.
You will need to provide your Working With Children Check clearance, your current First Aid Certificate and your Unrestricted Driver License.
