The Northern Tasmanian Football Association is the governing body for Australian Rules football in the Northern region of Tasmania. We are committed to growing the sport at all levels & dedicated to fostering a strong and inclusive football community in Northern Tasmania. Our mission is to provide a soundly administered Australian Rules Football competition in the Northern Tasmanian Region.
About the role

The Northern Tasmanian Football Association is seeking new board members.  As a Board Member, you will have direct input into the management and key decisions of the NTFA. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to grassroots football, influence positive change, and work with people who are passionate about sport and community. Please note that this is a voluntary role.
What we're looking for are; Experience/knowledge within the sports or community sectors/clubs.Experience in financial oversight, budgeting, and strategic financial planning. Experience in strategic planning and fostering new initiatives to drive the NTFA forward.Ability to identify key commercial opportunities and build long-lasting relationships with stakeholders.Ability to engage with community leaders, government entities, and media.Ability to develop campaigns to grow the NTFA's brand and visibility.Knowledge of current and emerging digital tools to enhance organizational efficiency.
