Queen Elizabeth Centre is an early parenting centre which delivers a range of programs and services for the local communities. The Health Service has campuses in Noble Park and is partnering with Peninsula Health for a new EPC campus at Hastings. Further information about the health service is available at www.qec.org.au.
Early Parenting Centres are public hospitals operating under the Health Service Act (Vic) 1988 and are integral to the Victorian health system. The board is accountable to the Minister of the day for the delivery of health care to a high quality, safe and in a cost-effective way.
About the roleThese positions provide an exciting opportunity for Victorians to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our communities. Applicants are selected for their capabilities, including personal and professional attributes, experience, knowledge, and skills that contribute to the strategic leadership and oversight of health care for the Victorian community.
Directors are required to attend a monthly board meeting of approximately 1-2 hours duration, to participate in board subcommittees and be available for other events requiring board representation.

To build an empowered and engaged leadership across the health system, the priority areas are First Nations people, people who live with a disability, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, people who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and gender diverse, Intersex, Queer and Asexual (LGBTIQA+), gender equality and upholding human rights.
