Due to anticipated growth across our flagship portfolio in Central QLD, we have exciting opportunities for experienced Gardeners / Grounds People interested in joining the remote sector, working 14:7 rosters (2 weeks on, 1 week off).
The Positions Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employeesBuffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast, Crib, Lunch, and / or Dinner and DessertsEnsure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling proceduresEnsure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to a minimumMaintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standardsThe Person Chef Qualifications / Cert III in Commercial CookeryExperience within bulk catering environmentsExcellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operationsExperience in menu writing, rostering and cost controlExperience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelinesThe Benefits Working 14 days on and 7 days off, fly in fly out, or drive in drive out opportunities are available for the successful candidates.
