About the role We are looking for experienced Blast Crew Operators (Bench Assistants/MMU Operators/Shotfirers) to join our Customer Sites at the broader Mt. Isa region in Queensland.
The roster will be 16 days on 12 days off. Fly-in-fly out (FIFO), all accommodation and meals will be provided on shift and transport from point of hire to site is provided.

What you will be doing Demonstrating and setting the example of our key Company value "Safety is our priority, Always"; Assisting shotfirers and Mobile Manufacturing Unit (MMU) Truck Operators as required; Assisting with the hands-on delivery of explosive products, drilling and loading explosives in blast holes; Working in tight unison with your team mates to provide excellent service to our valued customers; Acting with integrity and respect at all times. What you will bring An unquestionable attitude toward working safely as a priority; Demonstrated work history in physically demanding jobs working in all types of weather; A current Heavy Rigid (HR) drivers licence is essential; The ability to pass all required security checks in which to obtain a QLD Explosives Security Clearance; An excellent, positive and team-based attitude where you look out for your team mates; A willingness to learn and a focus on career development.
