Bim Manager

Pico Play is a global company within the field of themed attractions and entertainment offering a position for a motivated BIM manager and project lead. You will be implementing BIM technology of various levels to ensure accurate construction documentation and project co-ordination. As innovation industry leaders the position provides an opportunity to work on top-tier international theming projects. The role is looking to be filled as soon as the right candidate applies.
Responsibilities:
As a BIM manager at Pico Play, you will have an active role in leading teams of modellers, BIM coordinators & designers through the design of indoor Family Entertainment Centres (FEC) attractions, theme parks, water parks and nature parks. Attending co-ordination meetings to ensure the successful execution of designed environments.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Experience as a BIM specialist.
• Analysing, developing, and overseeing modelling and design strategies and procedures that optimise efficiency.
• Managing Revit project templates
• Hold workshops with the design team to ensure everyone is working together using the best practices.
• Assist with maintenance of drafting standards where required.
• Coordinate with engineers, design team and to produce top tier documentation.
• Compiling internal design models for issue to consultants.
• Integration of organic forms and structure into architecture.
• Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs.
• Lead teams of creative and technical designers.
• Analyse designs during the early phases identifying constructability issues.
• Manage and update BIM project documents.
• Preparing and maintaining BIM Execution Plans
• Reviewing 3D models from clients and consultants.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Intermediate to advanced construction processes and procedures.
• Advanced PC skills.
• Understanding of Rhino in Revit
Beneficial Skills:
• Rhino software;
• Blender.
