At Bene Aged Care, we are passionate about providing exceptional care to over 2,500 older people across South Australia. We are looking for a Billings and Finance Officer to manage resident fees and financial operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.About the RoleAs a Billings and Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the management and processing of all resident fees, preparing and processing exit entitlements to vacating residents and completing various monthly reconciliations. You will report to our Finance Manager and work closely with our Admissions Team.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and manage all resident fees for Residential Care and Independent Living Units, responding to queries and following up on outstanding payments.Manage all resident exit entitlements and ensure all correspondence is completed in accordance with legislated timeframes.Prepare resident contracts (both respite and permanent) and related documentation for St Paul's Residential Care Facility.Complete monthly Medicare reconciliations and reconciliations of various General Ledger accounts.Serve as backup support for the Residential Care Admissions Team.Assist the Finance Manager and CFO with ad-hoc financial tasks.Key Skills and Competencies:Strong understanding of the financial arrangements within the aged care sector.Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).Excellent customer service and communication skills to liaise effectively with residents, staff, and external stakeholders.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.Team-oriented and respectful, with a collaborative approach to achieving shared goals.Maintain a safe work environment by following Bene's WHS policies.Ensure all confidential information regarding Bene's operations, finances, residents, clients, and staff is kept secure and confidential in accordance with Bene's Privacy of Information Policy.What We Offer:Competitive salary based on experience.Salary packaging benefits to maximize your take-home pay.Supportive work culture in a dynamic and professional team.Opportunities for professional growth and development.If you are a detail-oriented finance professional who is passionate about supporting quality aged care, apply today to join our team at Bene Aged Care.
