Overview
Implements billing migrations from legacy systems to new billing and ERP systems. Works with multiple teams to confirm requirements, design, data inputs, testing, migration, and post-migration monitoring. May work on multiple billing projects with Billing Operations Management and in multiple divisions at the same time.
Responsibilities
The Billing Systems & Migration Senior Analyst (BMA) will work on legacy Billing System migrations and integration into the new Billing and ERP Systems.
The BMA will work with multiple 3rd party vendors supporting the migration efforts.
Assist the day-to-day Billing Operations with any post-migration production tickets.
The BMA can work on many different project/products simultaneously. It is expected the BMA gain a deep understanding of data, systems, and processes aligned to those projects/products.
The BMA will work on ongoing Billing Enhancements to Services.
All processes and requirements documentation related to the project/product that the BMA is assigned to will be created, edited, and reviewed by the BMA.
Documentation needs to follow all company guidelines and be correct to all project requirements; this can include external standards which will be externally audited to ensure conformity to the standard.
Primary BMA on the Billing System migration project and will participate in multiple weekly meetings, participate in requirements gathering, design review, provide legacy system data to appropriate Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) members and 3rd Parties, assist in data mapping, run test cycles, and conduct deep analysis of test results for accurate billing needed for Go Live.
Monitor post-migration billing accuracy in production.
Manage post-production tickets working with both EBS and 3rd parties and track the tickets through resolution.
Manage Billing enhancements for new and existing products by working with Contract Admin, Product, and FP&A to build new Sales Items and integrate into the Billing System.
Work on special projects including and not limited to customer and billing data integrity, identifying efficiencies in Billing processes, and alignment with Global Billing processes.
May work on multiple billing projects with Billing Operations Management and in multiple divisions at the same time.
Qualifications
8+ years of proven experience in delivering high quality data analysis paying attention to detail.
Experience with billing systems logic related to billable items, rate plans, rating, and associated outputs.
Proven experience with usage-based transaction data and ability to deliver detailed analysis as needed.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
Salesforce Skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in both technical and user-friendly language.
Ability to quickly grasp concepts and make them easily understandable in text, charts, and tables.
Outstanding listening and interpersonal skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment.
For this role, we anticipate paying $122,000-$138,000 annually. Any compensation range provided for a role is an estimate determined by available market data. The actual amount may be higher or lower than the range provided considering each candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and geographic location. TNS offers a competitive benefit package including medical and dental coverage, life insurance, paid holidays and vacations, and a 401K plan with company match.

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor's in business, Communications or equivalent work experience preferred.
