Job Description The Role: We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to collaborate with our Data & Analytics Manager in enhancing and maintaining our Fabric Data Lake solution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualisation, reporting and analytics, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to driving data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Identifying data quality issues and supporting information governance by participating in relevant activities and ensuring compliance with database and development standards. Providing high level conceptual and technical expertise and understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence best practice. Develop reports and dashboards that effectively meet the requirement of Key Business Stakeholders. Collaborate with ERP team to extract data into a Lakehouse. Writing ETL code to transform data. About You: Extensive experience working with Power BI, complex data sets and SQL. In-depth knowledge of business intelligence and data warehouse environments including system administration, database design, dimensional modelling, security, reporting and analytics. Proven ability to engage and negotiate with internal stakeholders with varying levels of data literacy and technical knowledge, from beginner to expert. Proficient in Fabric would be an advantage. Knowledge of ERP systems, with specific knowledge of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations being a strong advantage. 10+ years experience in building Data Warehouses and using Power BI or equivalent tools. Ability to develop Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to retrieve data. Skilled in analysing, planning and defining data architecture framework, including security, reference data, metadata and master data. Capable of collaborating effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Strategic understanding of the business to identify opportunities for innovation. Translate business requirements into databases, data warehouses and data streams.
