Description The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced External Audit Senior Manager to join our team at a Brisbane mid-tier firm. This is a relaxed environment with an open door policy, giving you direct access to the two audit partners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing audit engagements with not-for-profit and trade unions Assisting with planning, execution and scheduling staff Addressing technical issues and assisting in preparing position papers Preparing financial statements in accordance with AASB and IFRS Managing and mentoring 4 staff on-site and 4 offshore team members Liaising with clients and managing these relationships Clear career development opportunities and processes for advancement Competitive salary package and incentive programs A close-knit team developed through social club activities, monthly drinks and team building events Requirements:
We are looking for a motivated and proactive auditor with proven Australian audit experience. You will ideally also have:
2+ years of experience working at Manager level within a public practice firm A team-focused approach Enthusiasm, drive and attention to detail Experience dealing with sizeable and complex clients Strong people and communication skills Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 depending on experience.
