The development consent for the operation provides the ability to mine through to 2039. We pride ourselves on the professionalism with which we pursue our goals and our strong links into our community.The OpportunityReporting directly to the General Manager, we are seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to lead our onsite Commercial team at Bengalla, engaging closely with New Hope Group's corporate commercial functions. In this pivotal role, you will drive financial performance and operational efficiency, ensuring our business units thrive through strategic budgeting, financial management, procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives.ResponsibilitiesLeading the Commercial team onsite and engaging with New Hope Group Corporate commercial functions.Lead / coordinate the development of site Annual operating budgets.Co-ordination and maintenance for site costs for business units of Bengalla.Coordinate / Manage site Capital budget development and implementation.Support the General Manager with interactions with Joint Venture participants.Provide a strong linkage with the New Hope Group Finance and Procurement.Provide support to business units to drive business improvement initiatives.Maintain onsite oversight responsibility for all procurement, contracts and warehouse activities.Qualifications and experienceTo be successful in this role you will have:Relevant degree qualification for the rolePrevious management and leadership experienceExcellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.What we offerBengalla values its people and their contribution to the operation.
