The Aquatic Operations Coordinator primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery.
You will be responsible for leading, coaching and engaging a team of Duty Managers and Lifeguards, hazard prevention and ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and statutory requirements.
Skills & Attributes:
Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others Excellent verbal communication skills Sound knowledge of work health and safety legislative guidelines, evacuation and emergency procedures Demonstrated experience of plant room management and pool operations is essential Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate Current Pool Operations Certificate Applicants with strong background in pool plant operation and maintenance will be highly regarded.
About You
To be considered for this role you must have a 'can do' attitude, high energy and an exceptional work ethic.
The ideal candidate will know how to continue to build a team, and to foster a team environment that will facilitate great team performance.
You have a drive to lead the teams to achieve collective and individual targets and have strong communication skills that build rapport and positive relationships.
Ideally you will have at least 5 years' experience in aquatics and operations and wanting to move into a leadership position.
Proven experience as a swim teacher, lifeguard, duty manager and leader of safety will be highly regarded.

Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) Current CPR Current Working with Children Check (or equivalent) Current National Police Check Technical Operations Qualification Current Pool Lifeguard Qualification Previous management / leadership experience in a similar role If you do not currently hold these qualifications you must be willing to acquire them.
