Join us in creating a brighter future for everyone we serve!Job DescriptionAbout the roleCPBS is seeking a Certified Behaviour Analystfor a full-time role with our forward-thinking and dedicated Early Childhood Supports team in the North Melbourne region. Embrace the opportunity to thrive both personally and professionally!As a Behaviour Analyst, you'll report to the Head of the Early Childhood Supports team in Victoria andwork as part of a multi-skilled team.What you'll doProvide individualised assessments to new participants through effectively identifying the most suitable assessment option, based on differing participant needs.Work in collaboration with participants, parents/guardians and other stakeholders to deliver therapeutic supports and ensure the best possible outcomes for participants, families and other relevant stakeholders.Deliver person and family-centred practice and provide neurodiversity-affirming intervention programs, while considering cultural diversity and other background complexities.Analyse, interpret and share assessment results with parents/guardians, education professionals and other stakeholders in an easily understood format.Supervise and coach Behaviour Therapists, including those working towards Behaviour Analyst certification.With appropriate support and supervision, identify and develop other suitable support programs including internal referral programs.Desired Skills and ExperienceWhat you'll needSuccessful completion of a relevant Master's level coursework in the Behaviour Analytic field.Active certification as one (or more) of the following: Certified Behaviour Analyst (CBA) with ABA AustraliaandBoard Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) with the BACB.Solid professional experience working with individuals with disabilities.Experience providing behaviour analytic services to children and adolescents across a diverse range of situations and environments including the home and kindergarten.High level oral and written English communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical documents in a timely manner.Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment.Experience supervising and supporting a team of Behaviour Therapists.A valid driver's licence and vehicle.Working at CPBSWorking at CPBS brings many rewarding experiences as we support our participants across the lifecycle.We offer outstanding professional development opportunities and support individualised pathways to advancing the PBS careers of our people.Our professional teams are diverse, collaborative and highly skilled in their specialties.
