About The Role Our Salisbury site in Adelaide's northern suburbs manufactures a range of more than 78 milk and milk-based products. This site is a combined production and distribution facility producing well-known brands such as Pura, Dairy Farmers, Farmers Union, and Feel Good, and it distributes predominantly SA and NT, but also NSW and VIC.
We are looking for someone who is good at working with people and interested in leading a team. This is a night shift Team Leader position in our manufacturing division. Your main job as Team Leader will be to oversee the team and make sure that production safety, quality, and cost standards are met while also taking care of the team's well-being. You will guide and maintain production schedules within established budgets and procedures. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring established performance indicators such as variance reports, production reports, quality reports, and injury reports.
This position is a 6-month fixed-term role. The standard working hours will be Sunday to Thursday night shifts, starting at 10:30 PM and ending around 6:30 AM. Additionally, there will be opportunities to provide on-call support on some weekends.
Responsibilities Lead the team to ensure our products are manufactured safely, in full, and on time. Coach and develop team members to achieve targets across the site. Use problem-solving techniques to resolve non-conformance and other related issues. Ensure compliance to food safety, environmental and good manufacturing practices are followed. Support the site's annual operation plans and communicate to teams to ensure cascading of information. About You Previous team handling experience is required, preferably from a dairy/FMCG background. High-level process improvement skills with analytical ability and strategic problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proven record of people leadership, including coaching and developing others. Ability to build and support a favourable Safety and Wellbeing Culture. Understanding of quality systems, including HACCP and GMP.
