Associate Consultants working in the recruitment team provide support directly to a Principal Consultant.
The recruitment team is responsible for assisting both Government and private sector clients with the engagement and support of staff under contract / labour hire arrangements.

We work largely across the Commonwealth Public Service, engaging positively with CEOs, Agency Heads, Statutory Office Holders, and Senior Executives and their offices on a daily basis.Typical Duties Include :Liaising directly with clients about recruitment activities and scope of work;Responding to queries from candidates about roles;Communicating extensively with various parties using email and telephone;Drafting job ads, assessing applications, screening, interviews, reference checks and other due diligence and background checks;Stakeholder engagement with clients and candidates;Conducting market research;Assisting candidates with the application process;Database management;Basic legislative, policy document review to ensure processes meet client expectations and comply with relevant requirements;Ad hoc administrative duties including assisting other sections of the business as needed.We are a friendly, hardworking team that relies on clear communication and adopts a collaborative and supportive approach to our daily work.What You Get :Positive team environment;Opportunity to build strong and diverse networks across private legal firms and government departments;A workplace that supports learning and offers strong mentorship;Flexibility and interesting work;Exposure to a broad range of subject matter, including legal, policy, defence, IT, finance and international relations;About YouOur ideal candidate will be professional, personable, and customer-focused.
