A Senior Accountant is needed to join a thriving property company based in Nedlands, Perth. The role requires an adept individual who can manage complex financial tasks, provide strategic guidance, and ensure sound financial practices within the firm.

Description
Oversee and manage daily accounting operations. Statutory and taxation reporting including annual financial statements Monthly corporate tax (including FBT) reporting Income tax, quarterly business activity statements (BAS) Processing annual ATO taxable payments reports Fuel tax reporting Develop and implement financial procedures to improve and maintain the financial health of the company. Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting and tax forms. Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines. Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for future needs. Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement. Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modelling for senior company leadership. Profile
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional certification such as CPA or CA. Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.). Understanding of data analysis and forecasting. Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel) Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data. Job Offer
A competitive salary package of $130,000 to $150,000 per annum, plus Superannuation. A vibrant and friendly work environment in leafy Nedlands. A fixed-term contract with potential for permanency.
