Join Weel as a BDR Lead and play a pivotal role in guiding, mentoring, and accelerating the professional growth of our Business Development Representatives.
Leverage your sales experience to drive new business and contribute to our rapid expansion across Australia and beyond.
This role is ideal for someone who has started off as a Business Development Representative in a B2B SaaS environment and who understands the challenges and rewards of this journey. Having been in their shoes, you can relate to the obstacles BDRs face in their role.
Over the past few years, you have developed and coached a successful BDR or Sales team whilst still maintaining the enthusiasm to jump on calls and meet your own revenue targets.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Director of Sales and our Chief Revenue Officer, enhancing both your own development and that of your team.
What we're looking for..
Proven experience leading and mentoring a team, providing day-to-day guidance and coaching to drive consistency, motivation, and engagement.
Experience in setting clear team and individual goals, conducting regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and training sessions to develop team members and improve their effectiveness.
Expertise in various lead generation methods, including inbound and outbound strategies.
Experience with CRM systems (ideally HubSpot) to track and manage leads, analyse data, and optimise workflows to boost productivity and reporting.
Understanding of SaaS industry landscapes, market trends, competitor offerings, and customer ICPs.
Comfort and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment with the ability to navigate shifting priorities.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey your ideas and gain buy-in and trust from your team and stakeholders.
A talent for building impactful relationships, with customers and with colleagues alike.
