About The Role: In this role, you will maximise commercial outcomes for the Category through alignment of the range offering with trade partners, customers, and market, which enables a customer-centric shopping experience and supports the delivery of the BCF Strategy.
Day to day will include, but not limited to: Sales & Financial Performance: Ensure delivery against Category budgets and business deliverables. Product Development: Deliver new product development against category targets, including development of private branded products. Product Range Management: Ensure category range planning is reviewed regularly, analyse/plan range change implementation, impacts ensuring that plans are supported through inventory budgets, space plans & layouts. Category Management: Through proactive forward thinking and customer trend-driven analysis, develop and implement category-specific plans to drive a relevant and compelling offer to our customers. About You: Demonstrated success in a national category management role. Proven ability to contribute to the growth of online business is highly valued. Results-driven, with a focus on measurable success. Advanced interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective business relationships both internally and externally. Trade Partner relationship management experience. Articulate communication skills, with confidence to present at all levels. Strong negotiation abilities. High-level analytical skills.
