Take ownership of the Grocery channel across Australia, developing and steering long-term strategies to bolster our Consumer health product portfolio growth and customer engagement. Your mission is to build and professional develop an agile team that collaborates with multidisciplinary stakeholders, propelling long-term, robust, and sustainable growth.
You'll spearhead initiatives to develop "open selling" Price & Pack Architecture and New Product development, aiming to amplify the channel's contribution to 40% of our Australian business.
Do something that moves you. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you'll lead a team comprising National Account Managers, Key Account Managers, and an Account Executive, with a dotted-line leadership of the third-party Operations team. Your collaborative network will extend to the ANZ Cluster Head, ANZ Senior Leadership Team, field sales, merchandisers, Marketing/Category Team, Supply Chain Team, Customer Service, and Order to Cash. You'll also manage external customer relations, particularly within the Petrol & Convenience and Discounter sectors, via a third-party agency.
Achieve agreed divisional sales & profit budgets and targets for identified key accounts. Manage budget for all co-op expenditure aligned with annual marketing strategies. Active participation in co-op budgeting and planning process. Key Account management - Plan, monitor and control all promotional activity and expenditure within strategy. Understanding customer profitability and develop customer strategies accordingly. Co-ordinate promotions within budget guidelines achieving marketing activity by account. Achieve shelf management and distribution targets of existing and all new products. Conduct business and category reviews with each account as per customer expectations. Participation in monthly collaboration meetings with customers and drive actions against KPI s. Partner with Category Management team to identify category trends with implementation recommendations. Build understanding of shopper & consumer insights and leverage with customers.' Chain, Commercial and the Field Teams. Participate and contribute a culture of giving and receiving feedback . Oversee the administration of account claims and adjustments processed Assist with Customer forecasting and collaborating with Supply Chain and Marketing Does this sound like you? Substantial experience in business management of major retail accounts Previous experience working as a Senior Key Account Manager, National Business Manager or a similar role. A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry Demonstrated experience in building accelerated sustainable business growth Experience in crafting multi-year plans for sustainable growth Advanced level of negotiation skills Strong coaching ability, embracing a culture of feedback and personal team growth Proven ability to thrive, succeed and lead in ambiguity and uncertainty Positive conflict resolution skills Excellent commercial acumen with strong capability in analysing data and sound ROI decision making.
