Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceAssist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful wayMix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelinesHave full knowledge of beverage lists and promotionsHave full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsFollow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageOther duties as assignedQualifications: Previous bartending experience requiredExcellent knowledge of all beverage productsPrevious point of sale system experience an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsFluent in both official languages requiredStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesHighly responsible & reliableAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesSmart Serve Certification requiredPassing grade on beverage recruiting examPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout shiftFrequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbsOccasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, liftingFairmont Château Laurier is proud to provide employment accommodation during the recruitment process.
